Default What Rights Does a Father Have Before Establishing Paternity

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: when my daughter was born the father did not sign the bith certificate. I applied for child support send the information to his mom's address he never followed through with the papers i dont have his social number or ID number so they cant really find him. In this situation if he decides to come and claim rights over my daughter can he. Do i have all rights since i am the only parent on the birth certificate. Thanks you very much

Default Re: Does He Have Rights Over Our Daughter

If you are the only recognized legal parent, then yes, you hold all rights. If dad wants to pursue rights, he's going to have to go through the courts, and the courts are going to make darn sure that child support enforcement offices have his information.
