    Default Disability Update Report

In response to my recent disability update report I received a letter saying:

"We sent you a letter telling you that we were going to review your diability case. However, we do not need to review your case at this time. Therefore, we will not contact your doctor now. We will keep any information that you have given us. We will contact you later if we need to review your case."

What does this actually mean? I have been on SSI since the 1990's and am 50 years old.

It means that, for reasons we have no way of investigating for you, the SSA decided that it has no present need to review your disability case and thus is not proceeding with a review. Odds are it's because they have found that the documentation they already possess is adequate to establish your qualification.
