How to Mentally Survive False Allegations of Sexual Harassment

Creating a Hostile, Intimidating or Offensive work environment is a violation of the sexual harassment prevention law. Reference, V11 of the Civil Rights Act of 1965.

My personal opinion the government and legal system has failed to acknowledge there are long term stress injuries from being endlessly harassed on the job.

The moderators disagree with me on whether or not you can get (post trauma stress disorder from being violently harassed). I invite your opinions.

My personal Goal is to prevent profiling and shift the burden back to the company to force an immediate investigation and mediate to resolve attacks against innocent victims and to liberate co-workers from corporate retaliation.

My mission is to prevent job and health discrimination that results in long term life threatening health injuries, Investigations and mediations are seldom considered prior to terminations along with undue punishment primarily due to the corporate zero tolerance guidelines being unfairly and unjustly executed.

My personal opinion age discrimination and civil rights have been discarded in the name of zero tolerance at corporations disposal.

Meanwhile thousands of innocent co-workers had loss in pay and termination of jobs, a long with compiled medical expenses, and some medical conditions like stress is life threatening relatively due to false allegations. most states workmens comp divisions does not cover stress injuries even when companies are solely responsible for harassing you, thats what I found out the hard way.

Personally Please Consider the following steps for the sake of your Job and Health.

    1. Do not speak too or look at the accuser or accuser's friends involved, this will back fire in the form of harassment and 3rd party witness harassment.

    2. If you have a union ask for a Union Civil Rights Representative that you trust to be present, make sure you're both taking notes and documenting everything said. ask as many questions permitted or allowable.

    3. Medical History and related Illnesses, Many serious long term health complications result from jobs being profiled as a target of retaliation, Make sure all documents of medical related illnesses are turned in too HR. If prescription glasses needed , watch for attacks of being accused of staring at aggressers while doing your job or observing your field of view work area, if other illnesses are present like hearing loss or with Bipolar make sure HR knows about them and any medical aids needed.

    4. Ask the HR manager if an investigation will happen and what you can do to speed up the waiting process to get it over with, let him know you will co-operate fully and would not want false allegations on your record, offer to
take a polygraph test, many companies are using this fair and balanced resource to resolve disputes.

    5. Age profiling & cultural group misunderstandings could be a factor to look at. Reference, Age discrimination of 40 or over, Employment Act of 1967.

    6. Job responsibility profiling could be a motive if anyone dislikes or envious of your job duties they will show obvious signs of protest & retaliation.

    7. My personal opinion after the investigation; if you are not satisfied with the outcome, file a report with the names of the accusers with EEOC, EEOC will not come to your rescue, EEOC will file your report in the inquiry filling cabinet, this will document their retaliation for future cases of harassment.
If ever needed, The judge will request these documents pending a legal case,
be sure and save the report number.

    8. Never under estimate attackers prior experience, they may have done this before at prior companies, they will only get better at their revenge each time they attack someones job or health.

    9. Maintain a Diary of events including names, dates & witnesses, try to get a witness to back you up but don't expect them to take sides, never show this diary to anyone, if fallen in the wrong hands it could be used against you in an incriminating or retaliating way.

EEOC will refuse to protect victims from corporate retaliation after alleged harasment accusations.

EEOC is only interested in victims of alleged sexual harassment.

I read an article in the newspaper were thousands of EEOC cases are never heard because they did not sound like cases the EEOC would be interested in, I feel all cases should be investigated and or mediated regardless of how small they sound, and not show favoritism to selected cases, EEOC throws these reports in an inquiry file as if they are a waste of their time. In my case, I found out this week, two years later after being falsely accused of sexual harassment, the union shop steward was in on retaliating against me when I brought up persuing making the building smoke free, my job as safety chairman I had to bring up what co-workers ask me about and write it in the minutes, he had his smoker friends to stir up false allegations to get me fired, now the truth comes out. upon his election win he immediately removed me from the safety team.

little did anyone know I was not mentally ready for falsely being accused of such horific lies. it almost killed me not knowing the truth, now I would like to write a book about what painful stress I went through. sometimes I would pull over to the side of the road after work and just cry. It hurt me a lot.

In only one week after publishing the safety minutes I had the following complaints; 4 accusations of staring at different females, 2 cases of making threats, one allegation of stalking while leaving the parking lot, and you know it, they all smoke.

The first supervisor that stood up for me was fired for defending me.
the second supervisor risked his job for me by standing up to defend me,
It took a special supervisor that knows me very well to stand up and fight to save my job, after 7 years on the job working with him, he knew I was not capable of these false allegations of sexual harassment, I am happily married for 30 years and would never stray for anyone.

My union representive would not speak to me, my Civil Rights committee chairman was asked to stay out of it by the Union Chairman and to avoid me and the company Human Resources was ready to let me go without investigating.

Hmmm, wasn't your post exactly like this one closed in another forum because you are not qualified to help, as you say. Aaron I will send you the copy of that post and its closure.

    1. The moderators have no experience with you. You seem to be cross-posting due to your conflicts with moderators elsewhere.

    2. Was there a question somewhere in there?

I am the moderator in question.

On the forum which I moderate, which, obviously, is not this one, this poster (under another name) has tried very hard to establish himself as an "expert" at how sexual harassment claims ought to be handled. He has only succeeded in proving how little he actually knows. Much of the information he has posted is downright incorrect, and much else is misleading at best.

If the information he has posted is correct, he *may* have been the victim of a mistaken accusation, although I tend to think he simply did not realize that his behavior was inappropriate and was actually guilty of what he was accused of. He is determined to prove his "innocence" to the world at large by explaining how a claim ought to be handled and misses no opportunity to try.

He recently started a new thread with this exact post. I locked it and told him in no uncertain terms that his claims of expertise would no longer be tolerated. Evidently he's decided to try elsewhere.

What you do with him, aaron, is of course up to you. But that's the history behind it.

If somebody falsely claims expertise here, that's something I will certainly address.

I do not claim to be an expert at legal or medical advice that is why I mention my opinion more than once in my notes, recently I joined the civil rights committee and since then I have been offering advice that I have learned both from my experience and what Ive learned in the meetings. one thing I have learned the most is retaliation is behind every allegation, retaliation is the reason I left an unfriendly forum to look for an more professional forum with more experienced moderators that dont treat you like some kind of leaper, the prior moderators say they have professional coucelors on hand, well I have yet to be notified by one, apparently I am not welcome here either, I will leave in search for a kinder community, thanks for your time and bye.
