Hi,
First of all, I have basically zero experience when it comes to understading laws, especially copyright laws / patents.
My question is :
If under employment contract, you come up with an idea that your company is willing to start develop and eventually launch / publish, how's the copyright laws goes here? For example if your idea, is unique, nobody else has done it ever and you brought it up with the upper level personnels of your company and they decided to start developing it.
What are my options to secure compensations / credit for this idea which will bring the company a quite a big revenues once the project has been launched?
My contract says something about every intellectual property I come up with, belongs to the company, so I am really confusedDo I just need to hope for the best that they will make a fair move and give credit / compensation for this?
Please ask any kind of specifications if that would help you answering my question. I live in Europe btw.
Thanks!
