Default Re: Shoplifting 29$ in Value

Shoplifting in AZ of ANYTHING under $1000 (even a stick of chewing gum) is a Class 1 misdemeanor punishable by up to 6 months in jail and a fine of up to $2500.

Will you get the maximum or even jail for a minor first offense? Maybe not.

But you'd better darn well hire yourself a lawyer to get you out from under this in the best way possible.

Google shoplift lawyer for your city and you'll find plenty of lawyers looking for your business.
