Default Best Thing to Do when Dealing with a MIP

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas

After prom, a few of my friends and i decided to go to a beach house party on Galveston. Within 10 minutes of arriving the cops came and told everyone to go home. None of us had drank. We were about to leave , but they towed my friends truck so we had to stay there, and everybody who was left was charged with minor possession of alcohol. They did not give us any breathalyzer test or anything. This is my first ticket and i want to know if i can get the charged drop or at least lessen the consequences. Thank You .

It's really going to depend upon the policies of the local court and prosecutor. There's a good chance that the prosecutor is going to be offering everybody involved some sort of deal.

Are you charged with violating Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code, Section 106.05?
