When Is Emancipation the Right Answer

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: pa
i am looking to get emancipated in 2 months when i turn 16 , i was looking for some help. my parents and i don't see eye to eye morally. i am gay and they don't tolerate that. There was an incident 1 month ago when my mother hit me and choked me & demanded me to get out. After that she procceed to call the cops to come retrieve me. they didn't take me. Lately she has been mentioning me being sent off to live with my aunt down south.
Currently i am looking for a steady job before i file anything. once i get the job i will pay my own phone bill. my reasoning for wanting emancipation is becuase once i am finanically independent i would like the reponsibilites that come with it , also if they want me go than this would be a good choice. i would be rooming with my 18 year old cousin and at friend in their apartment that they are renting soon. Also i mantain a C and higher average in school. if i can get teachers to vouche for me do you think i have a chance in being granted this emancipation ?

Your odds of emancipation are next to none and slim just left town. If you are assaulted call childrens services or the police. Being gay is not a reason for emancipation, nor is not being able to boss your parents.

Not even remotely.

That's assuming that the county you live in (there is no statewide statute for a minor's emancipation in PA) will consider emancipating a minor in the first place. Not all PA counties do.
