My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: CA
Subleaser is vacating. He has not given proper notice. Other renters are leaving too. This leaves a tenant behind in a vacant home. The tenant tried contacting the owner of the home about serious problems since about mid-March, and tried again recently. The tenant has not received reply from the owner.
What legal options might this tenant have in regards to the absence of the owner and proper notice?
