My question involves a person located in the state of: Florida
We have installed a web camera in my mothers apartment within a Florida Assisted Living Facility so that we can check in on her from time to time. This was done with her consent, it is mounted in a conspicuous location, and we have posted a video surveillance notice. *We are not recording video or sound, just using it to look in on her from time to time. **The ALF staff are saying this is not allowed and have mentioned state regulations prohibiting it. *Question.. Does my mother have the right to have a web camera in her ALF apartment for security purposes. **
