Angry Banned from a Business, What Are My Options

My question involves civil rights in the State of: nebraska.

I was banned from a business about six months ago, for absolutely no reason that i am aware of. the same day police showed up to my house and asked to search, i then asked why he was even at my residence, he said there was a theft in town and he couldnt tell me exactly what business, but i tied the two together..
i was angry and since there was no formal issue written to me i proceeded to continue going to the store without issues until now. the last time i was there i was questioned about being there, i told them i wasnt sure if it was formal, they let me buy what i came for and instructed to have me call the business owner.
I called the owner and was being as polite as possible, it sounded like he was listening to my story, and i had assumed he would have investigated the issue? but i didnt expect much. I recieved a letter today, it states "due to recent actions, the decision has been made on the corporate level to ban and bar you and all family members from all said business locations, if you return or attempt to return we will contact police and charges will be filed, you are also banned from calling or in any way contacting any said business employees at the afore mentioned sites."

SO!, even after the cops came to my house.. even after we pleaded VERY COOPERATIVELY! why cant i even get an explanation! i know 100% that i am completely uninvolved in whatever they suspect me of. so why am i not getting anwsers, and do they have the right to suspect me for no reason? ive never felt this discriminated against it just feels absolutely wrong.

Your options are to convince them to lift the ban or to shop elsewhere.

i had contacted the owner of the actual business, but again was denied reason just formally given a letter stating i was not allowed. they already sent cops to my house, they never proved whatever they suspected but im still banned! idk i feel like i should at least get an answer from them stating why they have reason to kick me out. and it wouldnt be an issue if there was somewhere closer than 30 miles to shop! thats why im most angry.. its the only damn place around!

that's the breaks. You have been warned to not enter the premises or contact anybody at the store. If you don't stop now, expect the cops to come visit again only you will likely be going with them when they leave. ..A private business owner is allowed to refuse to allow anybody they wish to enter their business unless it is for something like race, religion, and the other protected classes of people.

apparently he is comfortable in his decision. He does not have to provide you with a reason for his actions.

i understand the letter i got. but there isnt anything i can legally do to get them to state their reasoning or find out what im a suspect of? frankly i think it is complete B.S. that i have no options when i know for a fact im innocent. do i have the option of having the cops try to resolve it? what kind of legal things could i do to open some sort of investigation? its a major inconvienience and id love to be let back in.. but if i cant talk to anyone. kinda makes me feel like a piece of garbage!

    nope

frankly i think it is complete B.S. that i have no options when i know for a fact im innocent
.since you have not been charged with anything, so far apparently so do others

do i have the option of having the cops try to resolve it?
You can ask. They will likely refuse. You have no means to make them do anything.

what kind of legal things could i do to open some sort of investigation?
    nothing

I understand. You made an attempt (or was it 2?) and were rebuffed. I think that's the end of it for you.

They sent the cops to your house (to search for what?) and you're most upset about being banned? I'd be pitchin' a purple fit if someone, like a business, sent Five-Oh to my house to look for whatever the flip they were looking for! They wouldn't hafta concern themselves with me ever showing up at the business, I WOULD NOT EVER PATRONIZE THERE AGAIN! Then, I'd be facebookin', tweetin, instgrammin', and whatever else I could think of utilizing to make it known that this place of business falsely accusates innocent folks for no good reason.

But your primary concern about is not being welcome there.

Sooooooo, what was the cops looking for? Inquiring minds wanna know.
