My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: California
I went to HR at my job to complain of harrasment, bullying and discrmination. They did nothing. I went and filed a form with the State of California DFEH. They accepted my case. I was terminated two months after I went to HR and accused them of discrimination.
Was I supposed to inform them that I filed a form with DFEH?
The defense attorney is claiming that the company never knew of the form. And let me guess-so what if they did or didnt? That probably wouldnt change thier minds about letting me go-since that is what they wanted all along.
