Default Sexual Offender Moving to a Different State

My question involves criminal records for the state of: MO

My husband pled guilty to sexual assault of a minor in 1991 and received a suspended imposition of sentence. While he was on probation, Megan's Law went into effect and he had to register despite successfully completing his probation. He has continued to register, but I am possibly looking at being transferred for my job to Florida and wasn't sure on how this would affect his registration. We definitely don't want to make his situation any worse than it is now, so if it mean I need to turn down the promotion so be it. We just want to make an educated decision. I read the statutes for Florida but it is really unclear to me on whether he would actually need to register in Florida or just notify Missouri of his new location. Thank you so much in advance for your help

Easy enough to find. Yes, he is required to register in FL. If he does not advise MO of the move, they will likely put a warrant out for his arrest.

We have no information about his conviction, so he will need to consult a lawyer in Florida with the details of his case and conviction to get an answer about whether registration is necessary in that state.
