My question involves a marriage in the state of: California.

My husband has filed for divorce and served me with the legal papers. I responded and went through the legal service to respond. My husband now says we are still married legally. Is this true? At what point do we become legally separated, or no longer legally married in the state of California? He filled 2 years ago this July. Any help I could get to figure this out I would appreciate.
You are not legally divorced until the divorce is final. Visit the family law facilitator or self help center for the county in question to see if there is anything you can do to move the divorce along.
