My mother is 84 yrs old and she got denied the tourist visa for the second time telling her that she has been arrested in the United States. She traveled to the united States in 1964, 1969 and from 1980-2012 every year (after she retired). She had a border visa, but do to 9-11 those visa changed to 10 year visa. She applied for the new visa in 2002 and it expired last year, when she reapplied she was denied because " she did not show strong tides to her Country". Today she had her second denial and was told in her last interview she did not admitted a previous arrest and that was the reason she got denied again. How can I find out what are they talking about since my mother never been arrested either Mexico or here...
I am a US Citizen and have not requested a green card for her, but I think after this I will have to. However I am afraid that what is in system may cause her the same problems. Is there any way to know the arrest she is being accused? If I can resolve the arrest issue, can she apply for a visitor visa while I put the paperwork here for her green card, since it take so long for a green card? Can putting paperwork here affect her chances

Thank you
