    Default Parking and Personal Property

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Ohio

In the apartment Complex that I live in, they had sent out notifications about visitors taking up parking spots for other tenants. The apartment does not enforce this rule and causes myself and other tenants to park far away from their residence. Can the apartment be held legally responsible for any damage done to my or any other tenants vehicle such as an accident or broken into for not enforcing the parking rules?

    No.

But if you have an assigned parking space you might be able to hire your own towing company to tow somebody after you put up the appropriate sign on your own space.
