the problem you have, even if you want to argue you did not intend on releasing your interest in the home is that the rest of the decree speaks to the ex refinancing the property after which you would assuredly be required to release your interest.Obviously the intent within the divorce was for you to transfer your interest to your ex. You just did it before it was refinanced. That was a bad move but it is what it is.
So, you get this in front of a judge, again, and demand the order be followed Since he has had a couple years to refinance, I would seek a quite short period to allow him to attempt to refinance the home. I would further ask that after that period, if the loan has not been refinanced, the court order the home be sold so the loan could be paid and you released from it.
There is no reason for a judge to order your name to be put back on the title. In reality, that would not help you anyway and could even cause you more difficulties.
