My question involves child support in the State of: NC
So I am divorced and living in another state. My ex has sole physical custody of the child. I still pay child support and I want to know that when I terminate all parental rights to my child do I still have to pay child support? I have not seen the child in a year and I do not talk to or want to have relationship with said child. I understand that I have responsibilities but the child is well taken care of. I just need to know if it in fact would be possible to be excused from child support obligations? Thank you
