    Default Leaving Without Trouble

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Michigan

I'm 17 years old, and I live in an unstable home. I'm wanting to move out somewhere but without the law being involved. My mother isn't the greatest, she's verbally and sometimes physically abusive, and neglecting of a lot of things. She also has a past with substance abuse and violence. I've already moved out twice and was forced to move back due to issues in the places I lived.
I'm ready to leave but I know she wont agree, and I don't want to try to get emancipated. What would my rights be if I moved out anyway, without these two things?

You would have the right to be dragged back home by your ear, if necessary.

If you are being abused, call CPS. They will investigate and, if it appears that you would benefit from being removed from the home, they will place you in a group home or foster care. Otherwise, you live where your mother says you live until your 18th birthday, at which time you can go anywhere you want.
