My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California

Hi, I hope you can give me advise on how to process my case:

on 2/2/2013 (Saturday) I informed him I will be moved out on 3/2/2013. (served 30 days notice). I hired a cleaning compay to clean the house and paid $115. Painted the window frame and cleaned the fridge/stove as the condition I moved in. During the initial inspection, the landlord did not put down any itmes that needs to do repair or fix it, but I made the unit as clear and the condition I moved in. I moved out on 2/24/13, and returned 5 keys on 2/28/13 (Thursday). The unit it ready to move in.

on 3/6/13,the landlord performed final inspection and emailed me the following itemized deducations:
$125 for cleaning (he found two bedroom windows is not clean enough, sticky floor under the fridge)
$190 for repainting two doors
$120 for one piece of wood floor
$85 for kitchen sink chipped (previous condition)
$1.5 for smoke alarm battery
$2.5 for door key
$700 for Lost Rent (he is withholding this amount due to I denied his request to enter the unit) - He emailed me to request a viewing starts 2/8 (monday to friday between 9-5pm); however the house was not ready at that time, I have to clean up to make it nice to him and prospective renters. He scheduled home inspection on 2/11 (monday), but I confirmed to him the unit is open for viewing from 2/12 to the date I moved out (including weekends).

I had discussed his overcharged on damange and repaint on the unit, but he denied my request.

In this respect, I supposed to receive my security deposit within 21 calendar days. Please advise what should I do?

Thank you.
