Default No Contact Order from Marijuana Charges

My question involves restraining orders in the State of: Kansas
A few days ago me and the guy ive been talking to were pulled over for speeding, they smelled marijuana so they searched the car and found it and a pipe in my purse amongst other things in the car. So we were both arrested and had first appearance in court the next day and both got a bond, mine was less so i got out last night and he is still there but the bonds man tried telling me that part of the bond agreement is no contact with my boyfriend for life...The judge had said no contact at court but that was just during all this and thats understandable but i dont understand how/why the bonds man told me no contact for life i didnt even know they could do that and i dont get why he is.

If you want the bonding agent to explain to you what he meant, you will have to ask him what he meant.

You can look at the order you received from the court and read it - it either includes no-contact provisions or it does not. If it does not, either directly or by reference, then there's no such provision in the order.

I would imagine that the bail bondsman meant the court ordered the no contact order. I have been in the pretrial release business for 30 years and have never heard of bondsman independently requiring no contact provisions in a bond.
