do you have any idea what a CRA has to do as far as investigating a debt disputed by the consumer?
it is very little. It amounts to the same action a drbt collector has to do when a consumer disputes a debt a collection agency is collecting on.
If the debt is validated by the creditor, the CRA is not obligated to remove the debt from your credit report.
sorry but they do not have to prove your owe the debt or the accounts. All they must provide you is a copy of the original creditor's confirmation of your name and the amount of the debt; nothing more.nd not to mention the refusal of the collection agencies to validate the debts in any form whatsoever, save a form letter which constitutes proof of nothing at all by way of a legal debt I owe nor ownership of an account(s).
I suspect what you believe they must provide. I suspect you went to some website telling you to send letters demanding all sorts of information. The problem with most of those websites is; the collection agency is not required to provide most of that information.
If you care to describe your situation and what you have done a bit more, I can determine if there are actually violations or you are mistakenly believing there is.
