    My teen tried to leave home and not return and went to a friend. I contacted Police I then found out where he was. Police returned him home and gave him option of a foster care or home. He chose home that was aone time event and since that day we have weekly family meetings (all 7 of us) to discuss family issues. It has worked wonders. However Police did return my son home but did give him that option explaining he didnt get to decide to stay with friend it was home or foster care
