Unhappy Changing Jurisdictions for a Custody Case

Hey all...I'm really new to this group...but I have some huge problems...I have 2 children from a previous marriage, ages 14 and 12. Well after 6 yrs of no communication, no child support, nothing from my ex-husband he's trying to get back into my kids lives, he's now threating to take me back to court for his rights to see my kids, they have already sent him emails stating that they didn't want him in their lives. The last time I heard from him I sent him an email since he was a truck driver with the news that we were moving from Colorado back Ga and that he could contact me at my parents house, which they've lived in the same house for 15yrs now, well he claims not to have recieved that email, he also claims to have called my parents house 5yrs ago and was told not to call anymore, I questioned my parents about that and neither one of them remember him calling. He called there a few weeks ago and they gave him my new phone number so obvisouly they weren't hiding us. The last converstation we had he said that the state of Ga released our court paperwork to the state of Ky where he lives, he doesn't have custody of the kids, we're in Ks..is that possible and what options do I have...I currently doing all of this alone since my husband is currently deployed overseas...THanks!!!

Let him take you to court best he can get is vistitation. Fact he has made no contact works in your favor so does fact kids have no desire to see him.

The state that issued the last custody order has jurisdiction. The jurisdiction can be changed to the state in which the children live, once they have been there six months or longer.
