My question involves loan default in the State of: Arizona

Hello,

I have been married to a woman now for a little over a year. She owes $32,000 of a 5th Wheel Trailer that is has not been in possession of for about 4 years.

The situation is this.

She bought the 5th wheel with her now dead husband and they sold it to some friends, with an agreement that it would be a private sale with monthly payment made to them. After my wifes late husband died the husband of the "friend" died and she stopped making the payment to my wife. The trailer has been gutted and it in terrible repair.

The loan in now 3 months past due. I need to know what my legal obligations, if any, are on this situation.

Have never had a personal gain with this trailer. Never lived in it or used it to any extent.

I would be willing to make some kind of settlement with the bank but not $32,000. I was thinking 1/4 to 1/3 of that about. My wife has no money of her own and only a pick up truck in owned property. I really need to know if I have any responsibility in this as to figure my negotiating power with the bank. If indeed I could do anything at all with the bank. She is currently making payment on another trailer we are in possession of.

I would love to resolve this matter cleanest possible way.

Thank for any replies
