Greetings,
I have just received my credit report from all three CRA, the first one in many years. The report states I have a judgment that I wasn't aware of from Discover Card. The Judgment was issued in Jan '02 and the card was cancelled by grantor in July '97. Isn't the SOL for GA 4years? Also I noticed on the other two reports Discover Card is showing a closed account date of 03/01. I went through some of my records and found an old credit report dated 03/98 and it lists Discover Card as being cancelled by grantor in July '97, so I know this date is accurate. I also found another report dated 06/99 with Discovered Card close date of 08/98. My questions are:
1. Can I Vacate a Judgment this old due to it being filed after SOL?
2. Isn't it again the law to push the date of a debt forward to keep it on a report for a longer period?
3. Are there any legal opinions or case studies I can read to learn more about this?

Thanks in advance
