Exclamation Bank Employee Informed a Non-Employee About a Repossession

My question involves personal finance in the State of: PA

I had a bank account which was setup when I got my car loan and I was having hard times and I was missing payments and the bank issued a repossession notice. A couple days later I was out with my boyfriend and a guy that I work with had come up to me and was talking to me and brought up the repossession notice which was issued and had said that his wife (who works at the bank) had asked him if he knew me to which he replied that he did and she then proceeded to tell him that I had the repossession notice and that they were coming to my job to take my car if I did not pay it(I am not friends with this man or his wife I have never spoken to either of them before) i would like to know what I can do because I do not know if this woman has told him other things that she should not have and she had access to all of my personal information which makes me feel very very violated. Any replies would be very appreciated

What happened when you reported the incident to your bank?

I didn't report it I just went straight to an attorney. He sent the bank a letter and they're lawyer got back to my Attorney and said the bank is reviewing it. This was back in October. He since then has not returned any phone calls or emails. I don't know where I should go from here. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

That right there is your problem. You made no attempt to resolve it locally but instead ran to a lawyer, likely thinking you won the lawsuit lottery. Bringing in a lawyer normally causes them to circle the wagons.

They may simply be waiting to see what your next move is. Since you never followed up, they may consider the matter closed.
