My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: Maryland Back in february 2008 i had a vehicle repoed and sold then charged off, when it was repoed it was only 2 mos.late due to job closing after 10 yrs of employment, first time ever late and the y wouldn't work with me,only had 2 yrs.left and would have been paid but anyway this company had my vehicle repoed then sold it at auction, when the vehicle was repoed they never sent me a letter to get it back and i was decent about everything, the vehicle was taken with my personals and tags while i was working and vehicle was home, they picked it up before they said they would but now i just got a letter and a 1040 tax form saying that it has been discharged and that i have to claim it on my taxes,to top it all off i have heard nothing from them except around 6 mos. after repo they said i had to pay full amount due or nothing at all,i tried to make arrangements but they resisted so i just thought,_____ with them jerks,my question is is any of this legal and how do i remove this from my credit report for good ? any advice would greatly be appreciated...
