    Default Possession of VIN Plates and Rivets

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: OHIO
    Is it illegal to possess an unattached motor vehicle VIN plate and or rivets?
    If so what is the chapter and verse please?

    Chapter and verse refers to the Bible not the Ohio Revised Code.

    Try ORC 4549.62 (C). The vin tag itself is a part. 4549.61 and 4549.63 may also be of interest to you;
