Can You Get Pretrial Intervention for Marijuana Possession amd Paraphernalia Charges

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida

I was arrested with under 20 grams of marijuana (~1.5g), rolling papers, 10 insulin syringes, and the bag that held the pot. For some reason, the bag itself was a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge. I don't understand that at all, but thats not my concern at the moment. I informed the police officer that I used the insulin syringes for heroin use a few months ago, and have since ceased use of heroin.

I was wondering if I am eligible for Pretrial Intervention. I am a first time offender, and am getting a lawyer. If so, what do you think the chances of me getting into pretrial intervention are? Are there any other options for me to get this erased from my record?

PTI only matters if you're going to maintain sobriety. The judge is much less likely to be inclined toward PTI if he thinks it's simply a matter of weeks or days until you're failing your drug tests and are back before his court. So... what are you doing, right now, to establish your sobriety and convince a court that you won't be back? AA/NA? Inpatient treatment or an IOP? Anything?

If I start getting drug tested, getting records of NA/AA meetings attendance, and IOP treatment would there be a good chance of getting PTI?
