My question involves real estate located in the State of: CA
I've received notice under Government section 27297.5 for Involuntary lien in the name of a distant friend who never lived at this address but forwarded his email to our home when he was traveling.
I guess he owes some RE loan. This individual has no interest in my home.
Does that mean my property is under lien and I can not re-fi or sell it?
I guess a good deed does get punished :-(
How, should I respond to this?
