Which has absolutely nothing to do with your fitness as a parent.

You've made up your mind what you want to do. You have all of the answers.

    Ooooooooooooh honey.

My husband is regularly told that #2 daughter is his spitting image.

    Which is fine.

Except he's not blood related to her at all.

Physical appearance does not prove biology.
I have the same exact thing here. People will tell us all the time my middle daughter looks just like my husband. Also the baby looks just like my middle daughter. Then wow all three of your girls look soo much alike, if they werent different in age I would think they were twins. DD#1 and 2 have the same dad, DD#3 is my husbands daughter. There is not a single person who wouldnt swear that they were all my husbands children.

Well in that case they will go after dad for child support regardless. The state doesnt want to be your babys daddy. They think the Bio parents should be responsible for helping to feed the children.

Its interesting to see perspective from the "other side"

Without getting into too much detail, I'm in the opposite situation with regards to a mother who is trying to cut me out and replace me with a new b/f as my child's father. Amazing thing was so far during the process of trying to assert my rights, I'm made out to feel like an inconvienence by her side for ruining their happiness and was asked to move on. The only picture I have so far of my child includes him in it. You have no idea the sort of emotional angst that creates.
