Recently bought a house. I am the only one on the deed right now and also the only one listed on the mortgage.
What is the best or most common way to leave the house (recent purchase) to my wife
in case of death. Do people use the Will or Trust?
Since I still have mortgage to pay off, is it possible for me to state in the Will,
that I leave the house to her? Will she have to assume rest of the mortgage?
What if I add her to the deed right now, then she will take possession in case of death,
will she in this case assume rest of the payment?
