Child Support Modifications

My question involves child support in the State of: Texas
basically me and the mother of my son went our separate ways when he was born.. she set me up on child support. for the last 6 monther the mother, my son and I are living together we are not married but we are back together.. my question is since my son is living with me do i have to pay support because if i do, i need to know what to do to get this modified or terminated. I havent went through a lawyer or the court so my back child support is just steadily racking up while im taking care of my son.. i just need some insight so i can do whats necessary instead of pushing it off and let it go on for years then it comes back to haunt me.

If you want your support obligation to end, you need to bring a motion in court asking that the order be terminated based upon your living with the mother.
