I would like to know what constitutes transfer when using a quit claim deed. When the quit claim deed is executed (signed and notarized) or when it is filed?
I am finding contradictory information on this online and I am facing losing my home over this question. So I would appreciate it greatly if you could reference the statute in the legal code to go with your reply.
