You can call the company that initiated the credit report and ask them to have it removed. Explain to them what happened, and sense it has already been paid, they may do this. Most places will do it just once. The credit Bureau cannot take it off as they are just the agency that keeps and disseminates the credit records. You need to contact the person (maybe court?) that placed the notice on your report. The credit bureau can tell you the agency that generated it. Contact them. Be very nice about it and explain how it is affecting you. Whatever you do, don't demand or get angry. These people deal with angry people on a daily basis and that would just make them not want to help. Good luck.
