Default Caregiver Accused of Stealing From Her Client

My question involves police conduct in the State of: nevada

So my mom cleans houses and she cleaned a house for a certain a old man, So she finished the job got paid and left. About a week later he called and accused her of stealing, she denied it and then he called atleast 30 times in less than two days leaving racist and threatening messages which are all recorded. We recently got a call from a detective, always a month later asking her to come in alone for questioning and wanting her to sign something(he also asked she was legal -_-). I looked up the detectives info and it seems legit but I'm not sure if she should go into questioning considering I can't go with her because of my work schedule. Can she get in trouble for not going in to talk to the detective? It's super far he can't he just come here? I don't really a case against her anyways

She is free to advise the officer that she has nothing to say about the matter and therefore respectfully is declining to come to the station and make a statement.

It doesn't matter if you can go with her or not. When they go in they interview room, it's only going to be him and her. If she needs an interpreter, they will have an officer who speaks her language present. While she can't get in trouble for not talking to him, that leaves him only has the victim's side to go on which could turn out bad for her. Define super far because no, he likely can't just come out to her. What do you mean by "I don't really have a case against her?"

If she goes to talk to him, she needs a lawyer with her.
