My husband had a judgement placed against him from capital one credit card company and now he has to go to court next week for a "Proceeding supplement" that I have no clue as to what to expect from this. Any clue as to what happens at this procedure? Also my checking account is in both my husbands and my name, and since the judgment is soley in his name should he go to the bank and close out the account or remove him from the account so that if they were to freeze the account they couldnt with just my name on it? Also, how is a bank account frozen? Does somebody have to notify you before it happens? I have truly come to terms and understand that if we would have just made a plan to pay it all back in the first place and not avoided the phone calls many of us wouldn't be here seeking questions...please give advise as to what we should expect and what should we do next as the information on this web site is awsome!
