My question involves an easement in the state of:Pa
Hi my question is ,I have an easement on my property for my neighbors to gain access to their property via a shared driveway.According to the easement agreement nothing can be done in the easement without consent of both property owners. My problem is that I asked the neighbor not to snow plow the driveway due to the plow tearing up the stone therefore creating a hazard for me when I snow blow my driveway and damaging my snowblower. With the past owners of the property we always maintained the driveway at no charge to them, with no problems, but with this owner we could have less than a half inch of snow and he's out tearing up the driveway. The easement is only 10' wide(at the widest part) and 45' long it basically is like a triangle. He offered another time to plow it and I explained why I didn't want the plow in the driveway,so he fully knows that we don't want it plowed yet he still continues. My question is can I do anything to stop this from happening,I was considering a lawyer to look over everything to see if its legit.I've overheard him in the past complaining about how my wife parks in the driveway even though where she parks is not in the easement,he still complains.I feel that he's trying to take over control of the property but I will not allow that.any help is appreciated
