My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: New York. I took my elderly mother shopping at shop rite. Last day of can can sale. Saturday. Parking lot is packed. I parked at the furthest isle on the end. On the other side of the grass on the end. Its on a end curb. There are no no parking signs or yellow curb to indicate you are not allowed to park there. I take her in and when I return I have a ticket stating "outside space/striped parking area LL 1234-4k. I spoke to the manager and he says that they did not give permission to give out tickets. It is my understanding they private property has to give permission for anything to be done. Is this ticket allowed to be written to me or do I have a leg to stand on when pleading not guilty?
