    Unhappy Can I get emancipated?

    my mom cheated on my dad and now my parents are going threw a divorce. I don't get along well with both of my parents. My mom only wants my little brother and I to get money out of my dad. My dad wants us to live with him but I don't wanna live with him because he drinks all the time. I have a little brother and he is hurt emotionaly but he trys to hide it from everyone. Can i get emancipated? If i get emancipated can i get custody of my little brother or could he go live with our older brother?

    She's 16.

    What makes you believe you are a good candidate for emancipation? For example, what plan do you have in place for an appropriate place to live, and for you to be able to financially support yourself?
