    Default Exhorbitant cost

Is there any limit to what a medical provider can charge for their services?

For example if I go into an emergency room for a broken arm can they charge me $15,000 for their services?

And if so, do I have any recourse to fight what I feel is an outragious bill?

I was charged $945.00 for each of two 15 minute ambulance services following a 911 call placed by my wife.

    Thumbs up Re: Exhorbitant cost

I am no expert, but I know from experience they will settle with you.Offer them 1/3rd of this amount and negotiate from there.
