My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Kentucky.
I work in a casual dining restaurant and a few months ago a server was promoted to assistant general manager obviously she was going to face the typical resistance from some employees because of the promoting from within. Regrettably there is one employee who continually makes unsubstantiated accusations about "how she got the job". His accusations are entirely false, he has gone as far to contact our human resources department to accuse her of having affairs with the entire restaurant former managers, new managers, new staff old staff.... everybody. Again these accusations are false. my thought is, he is creating a hostel work environment and is technically sexually harassing her by making these allegations. Is there any legal cases where a situation like this one has been handled, how can I bring this issue up to upper management to end the hostility she faces and the turbulence in the workplace?
