Post DUI and Fleeing the Scene Charges After Drug-Related Accident

My boyfriend is 18 and will be 19 in january. He recently got arrested for multiple felony charges. He took a vicodin (which he was prescribed) and rear ended a guy at a stoplight. He then proceeded to speed away and ran a stoplight. He finally pulled over and the cop arrested him and found an open container under his seat. Even though he passed the breathalizer test, he got charged with D.U.I. He will be pleading not guilty. His felony charges were; D.U.I,(for alchohol) assualt with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, fleeing the scene of an accident with injury witout offering aid, and fleeing to allude law enforcement. He has a public defender and goes to court in a month what is the worst case scenario or best scenario that he's looking at?

The "worst case scenario" for him is that you finally smarten up and get yourself a "responsible, law-abiding, worthy" boyfriend. The "best case scenario" for you is that your "self-esteem" becomes more apparent, and that you feel you're worthy of something far better than a criminal.

The worst case, based on what you seem to be asking, would be jail or prison. The best case, probation and fines. His lawyer should be able to estimate a probable plea deal and sentence.
