My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: GA
During my last semester at DeVry University I applied for my 2012 student loans with the school as I always have done. I started classes February and finished in June 2012. After noticing a balance of my full tuition ($6043.39), I went and talked to the fiance office. They told me that they made an mistake and did not send off my loans in time, and it was too late. So now I have this whole amount of money that I have to pay all at once, or its going on my credit soon. I complained and called, and all that they were willing to do is setup a payment plan that required me to pay a monthly amount to them with very harsh terms, along with my normal student loans. This just isn't fair.
