    Default Underreporting Income to Unemployment

My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: Illinois

I have been earning a little bit of money at a part time job. When I have to certify on Wednesdays, I do not have exact knowledge of exactly how much I have earned the previous week, so I have been providing a good faith estimate. Several times when my pay has been above the threshhold over which my unemployment dollars would be reduced, my estimate has been low, but never by more than $7. Do I need to let the Illinois Division of Employment Security know that what I reported was a little bit low? We're talking about maybe $20 total. I don't mind paying back this small amount if necessary, but how is that done?

I don't see a formal mechanism. I suggest calling the IDES and asking how to correct your estimates.
