My question involves criminal law for the state of: Connecticut
I just completed probation in Connecticut; I was on administrative for the last half. I phoned the probation department and asked if I needed to do anything. They told me no, that I was good, all finished. Do I get any paperwork from the Connecticut probation department? Or is my file just closed? From talking to the probation officer, I assume that the file is just closed and no paperwork will be sent out. When I asked, I was told "You're all set," and he said take care and hung up the phone. I did not get a definitive answer. But I did get the impression that I was a bother. So does anyone know that is there any documentation sent out after probation in Connecticut is completed?
Please do not answer unless you know for sure. All states are different. Do not tell me about New Jersey or New York or MA. Thanks.
