Going to Trial for Kidnapping Charges

hi i know someone who has a court trial for kidnap case but the victim does not want to show up but a witness will be attending trial, the police also have taken mobile phone and laptop because their was video footage taken

what can happen thank you

The victim will almost certainly be compelled to show up. Whether the prosecution NEEDS the victim or not is another question.

As for what can happen at trial, that question is too vague as to reasonably answer. If the victim or a witness doesn't show, the court might continue the case, it might dismiss the case, it might do something else like issue a warrant for the witness's arrest for contempt ... who knows?
