The only time a gun kills someone is if the gun malfunctions or it was unsafely modified.
WTF? If that's the case then there are lots of "malfunctions"!!!

    Back on point.......

Any legislative activity as far as new bans and regulations would be way too little way too late, there are already way too many out there. It'd be closing the barn doors after the cows have not only been gone, but been through the processor and crossed the dinner table.

The simplistic concept is to go after the instruments, after all, that does not take a whole lot of thinking and effort! Only a kneejerk reaction which requires no higher brain functioning whatsoever.

And, typically, the legislation proposed is not legislation that would have addressed the offense du jour in any event.

Don't worry soon all of your medical records will be on a government computer system. Obama thinks this will help doctors by being able to see what other doctors have done / put in your medical records.

Tin foil hats are available at the exit doors.

It will not be long before they start search for whack-jobs in the data base.
I've got news for you there, pal. Ask me why.

The only time a gun kills someone is if the gun malfunctions or it was unsafely modified.

Or unless - GASP! - someone pulls the trigger. Shocking, I know!

I do not believe in accidents, yes I know there are a few true accidents. Most accidents are truly the fault of a human taking a short cut, ignorance, or stupidity.
So are most births, but we probably shouldn't go there.

I'm saying this after I was shot by an officer with my own hand gun that I was legally carrying. The gun was sent back to the manufacturer for testing and the reports came back that it had not been modified and the gun was safe.
    Merry Christmas!

Doggie lightens the mood! I'd give that a thumbs up and a hearty "like" button push.

    Especially the tinfoil hat...priceless!

No there are just a lot of people that pull the triggers. When the trigger is pulled it is now a person that is killing not the gun.

That is not what you stated.

"The only time a gun kills someone is if the gun malfunctions or it was unsafely modified."

But before that you went off on a 'big brother' tangent. THEN, you were shot by an officer with your own gun???

I believe the point was that; guns don't kill people (other than the minor exceptions noted). people with guns kill people.

Although I'm pro gun, the governor of CT has planted a seed in my head about high powered rifles. Below is his powerful statement.

"What we know is he shot his way into the building. He was not buzzed in," Malloy said. "He penetrated the building by literally shooting an entrance into the building. That's what an assault weapon can do for you."
