    Default Personal Belongings

My question involves a relationship in the state of: Michigan
Myself and ex have come to an agreement regarding the house as he is buying me out. Our relationship lasted about a yr but we remained living together since the breakup. He has informed me that he has equal rights to property within the home even items he did not purchase. Receipts show proof of who bought the items. So my question is does he have any rights to personal property besides his own?

No, unless these items are attached to the house. (like a chandelier or a fridge)
