How to Get My Employer to Give Me My Last Paycheck

Hi,

I was just terminated from a job and I am scared the boss will not pay me. I am disabled and really need this money. If this happened what would I do? Only thing i came up with is labor dept? Is that only agency I would alert?

It's a rather strange story. I worked for a cleaning agency and the company we cleaned at terminated our services. Conflict of personalities between the bosses is what i thought. After that happened my boss didn't have a location to put me at so I had no job till a 1/2hr later the boss of the comp who fired us called me to ask me to work for her with more hrs and $. After being terminated i spoke to my old boss and she disclosed to me that the lady of that comp had owed her over 2 months worth of money for services we provided - thats why I am scared I won't get paid if she didnt pay my old boss who is to say she will pay me ? I can hope she does whats right and pay us BOTH.
